i have Centerline Hellcats for rims which are aluminum and the wheel weights have to be the stick 0n king that get put on the back side of the rim towards the front, but the back of my rims have crud built up on them and it does not just brush off. Does anyone know how to get it all off so the weights will stick to the rim. Last time i had them balanced I even put silicone around the wieghts and they still fell off, not all of them but some.

Thanks

When you have the wheels off, wash the backs of the rims real good, like you would your truck, let dry,buy a can of mothers wheel polish and a soft bristle hand brush, get a good dab on the brush and start working the brush in circles, after you do say 1/4 of the rim, wipe the area you just done off with soft rag, continue this until whole rim is done, then using just a soft rag and mothers,do the whole rim again, clean all polish off really well with clean rags.
This may be a bit time consuming, but well worth it. Mothers is the best Aluminum wheel polish I haver used, and I have used pretty much all.
