Hi all -

Expecting delivery of my 05 tomorrow. I am curious if anyone knows how to remove the center dash in order to mount bracket for satellite radio unit. I was able to figure out with my 03 (just a couple of screws here and there), but have not yet examined the 05 to see how it comes apart. Any advise is appreciated so I dont break something the first day.

I'd like to know how to remove my dash too (I have a '97). I've got something rattling around in there and it's driving me mad. I've also got some shit stuck in my heater fan which makes a very annoying noise. Sounds like a fun Saturday morning project huh?

The fan is easy. I had an annoying leaf in mine for awhile. Stick your head under the dash on the passenger side, you'll see it. Three bolts and it's out.

Okay, CENTER DASH???? If you mean the center console then here we go.
1: open consloe box, remove carpet(it lifts up), remove two bolts 10 or 12mm.
2: pry up the plastic around shifter, take off shift knob: there are 4 screws to take off if you have the auto trans.
3: now the console bax should now just slide/pop out, there are some clips were the two pieces come to gether.
4: pop up cup holder (A/T), and the tray under dash by the ignition(this does just pull out(a little tough)
5: grab the rest of center console and tug on it and it will pop out.
6: if you need to go further, take a thin screw driver and pry out the bottom of heater controls(go corner to corner it has clips in the corners)
7: 4 bolts to remove the radio.
