I agree with the sockets from Craftsman. They are called " Lug-Out "set, part number #47392. They cost 30 bucks. down side is that they are recommended for Impact use. hopefully you have availablity to a good set of air tools.

My friend had a blowout and the key for the wheel lock stripped out...any ideas on how to get the lock off??

A search for "wheel lock" would have given you the answer

Option1)
1/2 Drive, 12pt 19mm deep socket should work- Craftsman w/lifetime warranty will work since you will fracture the socket. W/ BFH- get the socket to fit over the wheel lock-
I have been able to removal all 4 wheel locks w/ the same socket before I swapped it out for a new one.

Option2)
Craftsman sells a lug nut removal tool

I think they also have a 3pc set for less

If its not on a Tacoma then some Gasoline and Match will work perfect.

I own a nutsplitter like what platform described and it works great for me. But it's usually only good if you're in a sticky situation and have no other way to get the nut off, and also don't mind replacing them.

Yeah, after I did that, I decided to never buy those pieces of crap again. They strip out too easily, not mention the fact that they don't even make it that much more secure since a plain socket will take it off. Glad to hear you got it off.
