Hey guys,
I'm looking into buying some TRD Sport wheels/tires, the seller has no clue if they have the TPMS in it or not as he bought them from someone else. How can you tell if the wheel still has the sensor in them? My steel wheels valve stem is metal, but my buddies FJ Cruiser valve stem is rubber.

Is there anyway to tell apart from taking these to a tireshop to have them taken apart if they have the TPMS or not? I'd like to know before buying them.

Thanks!
Denny

Aluminum Valve stems with a round upper portion and a 12mm six sided lower portion. If they're aftermarket they'll usually be black rubber or those retarded looking chrome ones.

Does anyone know where I can find aftermarket TPMS sensors that work with the Tacoma 16" Alloys? I don't really want to spend $400 for new ones from toyota.
