yea. this will be weekends and evenings. (not every day)
we will work out a schedule. but $30 an hour to play with horses. PIMP.

i put an ad on craigslist for horse training (to try and get to play with horses for free instead of having to buy or lease one) and was amazed with the response. so i repurposed a website i had: www.itsyourhorse.com and im amazed with how many people want me to work with their horses.

Got to love Arabians, hehe! my sister in law has trained them, and I had to be around them at the time while working around the ranch, fun breed!

A lot of trainers are so expensive per hour and won't train for just part time money... demand is there, but managing multiple clients is a challenge!

I enjoy horses, but visiting them is better than owning IMO!! Congrats on the job!

I GOT THE JOB!!!!!!!!!!!
I will be doing anywhere from 12-18+ hours a week.
I will be working with all the foals (9)

they haven't had really much contact with people so things will be slow going since the woman who owns them is pregnant and hasn't been able to be hands on too much because she is pregnant.
I will be working with both of her stallions.

Rafiq has been sat on but not ridden, so I will be breaking him with the help of a cowboy next door
Gramatika is very good under saddle so I will be keeping him in shape and working on some small things with him.
She has 3 wild horses that she wants to resell so I will be getting them used to people and leading, but not breaking them.
She also has 4-5 other horses to ride for me. A couple of these horses she will allow me to use as lesson horses if I want to bring in other people to give lessons to. I can also use them to bring friends out to ride and go on trail rides.
Then one of the mares that has a colt by her side I can hop on bareback whenever too.
She has one mare left to deliver. She was due May 30th, so Im excited for a newborn as another baby to teach soon! (and to get to go to the birth hopefully)

I will be showing 4+ babies and 3-5 horses for her too. Im so stoked.

You need to come over here sometime. We have the 2nd largest herd of wild horses in the world about 10 minutes from my office.

Oh yeah.. CONGRATS!
