I have a 95 tacoma with the 2.7 and my truck is having problems idling. this started 2 days ago and getting worse. I only have this problem on a cold start or if I let it set for a few hours. My truck idles at 1000 rpms on a cold start and once it warms up it idles at about 800 rpms. Whats happening is it will start at 1000 rpm drop to 800rpm then keeps dropping and my truck will shake then the engine dies. If I give it gas it will temporally go away.

IAC (Idle Air Control) valve might be stuck closed or nearly closed. Thats the white valve just below the throttle body that functions to control the idle speed. Since it lies below the TB, its prone to clogging. You can remove the throttle body and then the IAC from that to clean it.
