I am thiking I might use a Iforce V8 in a project of mine, but info on that motor seems to be hard to find. Anyone know what transmissions will bolt up to that motor? Also, any way to get a older gear-drive tcase to bolt up to a tranny that will work? Thanks, AJ

dont know much about them, but i think they come with 5speed autos, why not just keep that?? And you can run basically any tcase you want if you have the room to run it divorced.

I am fairly certain that the ifrorce v8 from the had a 5 speed option in the Tundra, so I would assume you'd be able to find it. Otherwise it's a 4 speed auto, unless they upgraded the auto tranny to 5 in the newer trucks.

Advanced adaptors will usually work with you to make stuff, or can direct you to what combinations you can do. Give them a call.

All the V8's come with the autotranny. Only the V6 had the manual 5 spd

Not sure about what different tranny options there are, but I know that some Tacoma Xfrcases will mate up. Maybe put in a call to Marlin as he makes crawlers for the Tundra so he prolly has a better notion of the tranny specs
