Anyone have pics of their Inchworm e-locker skid installed? No instructions with the skid and it does not clear one of the bolts to allow for the top nut to be put back on. Any suggestions?

Thanks, Jason

Okay, I figured out what they did. Went to the Inchworm website and saw their pic. They just took out the top bolt that was in the way and left it out. I did the same thing and everything lined up just fine. On the top nut you have to leave out the lock washer though, not a big deal. Thanks alot everybody. :welder:

I think I'll get one of those, but I'm pretty sure I'll grind on it to keep that bolt. I'd just rather not leave a bolt out that was supposed to be there before the little skid was put on. Just my opinion...

Mine should be in today. We'll see how it goes! :welder:

This is the response I got from Jim @ Inchworm gear:

The hole you are looking at is for a bolt that holds the little sheet metal bracket which supports the wiring. This bracket is also supported by the nut that holds the motor to the 3rd member. (The holes are about ½” apart) the nut is what the guard is mounted to. On front axle applications this part of the housing gets cut or ground off to clear the leaf spring and the bracket is supported by the nut only. Since we wanted the guard to fit both front and rear applications we designed it to only use the nut. I removed the bolt and forgot about it, but you may be able to grind the guard a bit and still get the bolt in if that is what you wanted to do. Let me know how it goes, or if you think of a better way to handle this situation. I’m always open to suggestions.
