Went to Indy yesterday and had a blast! No one was up there except for some people on quads and a couple of kids just watching taking some pics. Weather help up and it really wasnt bad at all. My buddy just finished his buggy for King of the Hammers and wanted to test it out before he went. Started kinda bad when my buddy some how crushed one of his hydro lines and had to take it to the trailer....easy fix and we dropped back in. My rig held really well until coffin rock which broke one maybe both hubs and Im kinda guessing a birf. Wont know what I broke untill I tear it down which will be a while. Hoping its not a birf as its 30 spline but who knows. I did winch and drive the exit with no tugs from the buggy though. Anyway heres some pics:

Awesome! I love seeing pics of your crawler. That thing is just a sexy beast.

Quick question: Do your tires rub your flatbed? If not, I'm starting to think my wheel cutouts were a waste.... But if not, they still look cool I guess...

Nice pics, Patriot is always a good time! Right line on Coffin rock is tough! I made it on my first attempt last Aug (after slipping off of the left line and figuring it might be worth a shot :D)

Holler the next time you run it, I'm only 30 minutes away from Penrose!

I tried the line my buddy did in his buggy on the right and I slid to the left and got a huge undercut and boom went driver hub. Replaced it with a drive-flange I had in the toolbox and tried again...boom pop pop went something on the pass. side! It will be a while before it hits the trails....gotta tear down the axle and hopefully warranty will cover the longs if they are broken!

sweet shots! You can't figure out how to do separate albums but I couldn't figure out how to put a video on bucket. How did you do that?

IIRC longfield will warranty the first break, and possibly part of the second if you are under either 40 or 42 inch tires.

This will be the first break and any tire over 39" voids warrnty. I'm only on 37" tires so I should be good to go:D

You running Longfield's hub gears??? If you are running stockers, sometimes they strip out and ruin the Longfield stubs. He won't warranty them if you are running stock hub gears and trash the splines on the outside. I bit the bullet last summer and bought his hub gears :D

Hope you find out what's broke. I saw my first R&P carnage last summer. We thought it was a hub at first. Once we got him to flat ground and looked at the hub, we knew it was worse

Stock hub gears is what I'm using. The driver hub broke and pulled it apart to see what broke and it was that little ring and spring. Something is broke bad for sure but I'm out of town for a while and won't find out for a couple weeks.
