THey are one of the better single voice coil woofers out there. You can't beat a w6's capabilities (or any Dual voice coil) because you could lower the impededance to like 1.5 ohms (if your amp can handle it), but the w3 is a quality woofer none the less. I like the Rockford Fosgate series 2 as well.

I've had those subs in my truck for the past few years, and they still slam. They are in sealed boxes, pushed by a Rockford BD 500.1 and I positively recommend them. Here are a few pictures http://www.sounddomain.com/id/saggysprings And they are the dual voice coil model #12W3 D2

I have a JLw3v2 12" sub in a custom dwonfiring sealed enclosure. It is being pushed by a MTX 421D amp.
It is a great combo, sounds GREAT!

Coo. I just wanted to know before I posted . Anyways, they are pretty good subs. They are designed to play a higher bass note compared to a w6 or a w7, but overall they are nice subs. Just make sure you get the proper enclosure made before you make the purchase. The wrong box dimensions could kill your sound.

don't know about the 10's, but another friend of mine has 2 JL 15's in his tahoe, and damn, they will make your nose bleed...... :xsmash: :xmoon:

I got 1 12w6 and I love it. I would of went with 2 12w3's except I didn't want to take up to much room. W3's sound great. I had 3 10w0's at one time and they even sounded good.
