Jumping Jack Trailers recently provided me with one of their units for testing and evaluation. They are considering an "off-road" package with additional ground clearance, etc.

I thought some of you would be interested in checking it out...

Trailer Review

Great review Scott...

Just a question - I might have missed it in the review, but what is the stability of the trailer like when you stand inside it? Do the ground supports stablize the trailer well or does it move around alot when you sit, stand or someone turns over in their sleep? Also, can you level the trailer on un-even ground?

Thanks,

Peter

Steelerfan,

Yes, it is expensive when looking at it from the utility trailer perspective. It seems to me that these specialty trailers are all expensive due to the low sales volume. My Venturcraft trailer is smaller than this one with less build quality and it was $700 more. I really think it is a volume thing... Oh, and you should take a look at one up close. The build quality is top notch IMO. :welder:

Mountainpete,

The trailer is rock solid when set-up, the front and back are stabilized by jacks and side to side movement is controlled pretty well by the suspension. I just recently took the trailer on a snow run (dropped it at a camp area) and there were three of us that slept inside it. No problems.

The thing has spoiled me

I have been to their shop many times, these guys make and stand behind there stuff 100%. The cost is mainly due to volume and shipping, they are fairly large, and shipping is getting pricey.

Anyway if you guys want more information please contact me I have a connection with jumping jack, I can get whatever info you all need!
