Anybody go to KOH this year?

Robby Gordon is racing there for the first time. He will definitely bring some cred to the sport, but the fast guys are all there. Shannon Campbell and Rick Mooneyham, of course leading the way...

Robby Gordon was quoted saying he hopes to qualify in the "top ten or fifteen." This is some serious competition Robby! I'm curious to see how he finishes and I wish I could be there to hear his comments after the race.

I went down for a couple days to help out my friends Dave Bovich and Jim Henle in car #50. They qualified 19th overall. I had to come home early so I won't get to see the race, but I was hoping to see some updates maybe, but definitely some pics.

Post pics if you have any!

I heard Robby Gordon broke. I don't know if he's out.

Just saw a nice pile up and car contact in Chocolate Thunder.

I see course workers spotting. Drivers should just drive their own race.

Robby Gordon is out. Blown engine with 2 rods through the block.

TG is out. Their co-driver broke both his ankles in a crash and was air lifted to a hospital.

Car 117 has a blown front end, RWD only.

The GenRight rig flopped on Chocolate Thunder and was non-op for a while. Not sure if they will be back up and running or not.

We finished in 35th place! Started in 19th, but the competition was WAAAAYYYY stiff and we had some power steering problems.

Congratulations guys.

awesome!! out of 150+ rigs that a major accomplishment.

There were two guys in a stock 22R rig that did a great job but I have no idea if they finished or not. Hell, just starting for a rig like that is amazing. The got up CT with no more problems than any of the mega-buck trucks ;)

well congrats on finishing! i cant wait to make the KOH trip
It is well worth going to in person! There are trails that you can park yourself on that aren't on the 'main' list of hot spots where you'll be one of only a few people even there...and see amazing wheeling...maybe even help right a rig that has flopped ;)
