It depends on what you get for $2K?
Consider the fact that you can get a complete Chevy or Ford SB V8 crate engine for from $1.7K to about $2.5K depending then decide.

Well if it's a stroker kit I would take that to mean longer stroke so how much torque is this kit supposed to add?
Still 2 large for a box of parts for a four popper seems high to me. Now if it were for an engine exchange where you shipped them a good core and they returned an engine with those parts in it, I could maybe understand.

what's confusing about that? The only real fab work that's involved in that is repositioning the motor mounts on the frame, and the wiring to make it work w/ the older electronics.

Ha, I don't think even the most experienced fabricator would wanna attempt that task
