Up front I went with the TRD Tundra coils, Bamachem's spacer and some OME N91S's. In the rear I installed Wheelers Offroad 5 leaf replacement springs (made by Deaver), Daystar Shackles 1.25" lift shackles and OME N85's. This combo gives 2.75" over stock, but it looks like more cause my springs were wasted.

And After (there's a bit of weight in the back already):

And just for fun, parked in front of a stock Tacoma:

Close-up pics.

Closeup before and after pics

Front before:

Front After (I was worried that I had gotten too much lift and I would damage my CV's, but it looks like stock front height is 35 to 35.5", so I think I am right at 3" of lift. Diff drop on order):

And the back before:

And after:

lift

Truck looks good. Now for the black steelies and 32's. What lift do the coils and spacer provide - respectively.

Go beat your coils for a couple of weeks before getting an alignment, they will settle.
My mom lives down 1/2 mile of dirt road-I've just been flooring it when I go to visit. Got an alignment already, but its got a guarantee, so I'll take it in for a checkup after a bit. Waiting for the dif drop before I do anything too rough.

Wow I love it! So how much did it cost you? Did you get the Tundra Coils from a salvage yard or online somewhere? lol, one more question. How hard was the install?

I got complete TRD Tundra front Struts off of ebay for 9.99 plus shipping! Then I sold the shocks on ebay for $25.00 plus shipping. So, essentially the coils were free. I got the OME's from Mike at Xtremeoffroad (he's a member), good price and just as important, real customer service.

Total cost breakdown is something like this

Coils:Free
Anders Spacer and Studs: $47
OME's (front and rear): about $300
Wheelers Springs (mine were busted, needed new): $329.00
Daystar Shackles:$78
Loads of shipping.....(I lost track, probably about $150)

So total is what, just over $900? Ouch. First time i added it all up. Not bad as they go, but still.

Install, not too hard, way easier in front than rear. Being in ohio, eveything is always seized. It took me longer than it should have, but I would work on it here and there. If you have specifiic questions about the install, I will elaborate for you (like I've become some kind of expert :D ).

Close to 3" total, over stock, I believe. In the pics it looks like 4", but from what I've read, my trucks coils had settled at least an inch.

I believe the coils are worth 2.5" and the spacer anthoer 1/2"

Thanks!

It is the five leaf pack-I went with those cause A)its pretty reasonable in price and B) theyuse an overload, which I know limits flex, BUT I use the truck to haul A LOT, so having them is useful.
The daystars are supposed to be worth 1.25". I went up about 4+ inches, but My old springs were really dead. The combo should give about 2.75" over ((new) stock height.

Hoes are adjustable, right? If you don't wanna spring for the shackles you can always crank them down a little to get the angle you want, relative to the rear.

Toyota4ever, how are liking the front setup so far? I'm pretty happy with it. I had wondered how it would work out with all the talk of tacomas being lighter than runners, but its good.

How would you say the ride quality is compared to stock? Im running a set of SAW coilovers right now, but they ride VERY stiff, so im trying to find a better alternative. A 3" spacer is definitely out of the question, as it would probably ride about like my coilovers do, so this sounds like a possible solution.

If you want ride quality by Donahoes :) I love mine, the Tundra coils I felt were even stiffer than the set of OME 881's w/a 1" top spacer that I had prior to my hoes. My hoes rock though!
