Hey guys,

I have a 2000 reg cab 4x4... and Just purchased a 2" lift.... will i need to get a differential drop with this lift? will my cv's be at a terrible angle? thanks in advance

the diff drop does do one thing for ya, it makes it a bitch to re-install the factory skid plate :) But that POS won't be on my rig much longer anyway.. :saw:

No, waste of time and $25
do a search on "diff drop" for several days worth of reading ;)

and, if you have manual hubs (like I have on my '00) that 2" won't be an issue at all.

I dropped the diff just to see what it would do (just supported it with a jack, didn't put in a spacer or anything) and it does NOTHING.

My inner cv boots are just barely rub. Just lowing the diff does nothing at all. My cv's barely rub enough as is, and it didn't even alleviate the problem...
