I always see those on ebay when I'm looking at Tacoma stuff. I've seen them with and without speakers but they really are fairly pricey. They did put a box around the back of the speaker, but I think it could be done pretty darn cheap at home. I'd also bet that you could get that panel from a junk yard for almost nothing.
Following Taco Dells write up
Before I go Doing it and screwing things up I wanted to double Check. This is how I interpreted his write up.
First Grind off the "Bumps" on the tracks.
2 on the front of one track.
Does anyone know of a custom fit subwoofer enclosure that will fit behind my 2004 Tacoma Doublecab back seat? I currently have a custom built enclosure that houses three 6" subs, but I want to go to 8 inch, or even 10 inch if possible (I know this is asking a lot).
THE PREDICAMENT- I recently installed a new stereo system as well as some aux. lights and a few other items that were apparently to much draw for my little ol' alternator. Now granted its prob the original alternator and what not but anyway it crapped out.
THE SOLUTION(S)- HOLY CRAP! Are there...
'02 Taco, driver's door window rattles horribly when wheelin' or shutting door. However, it happens only when the window is down, which tells me it's probably the track or something coming loose inside the door, on the side nearest to the door jamb.
I guess I'm looking for a more...
I was ready to drop in on some WeatherTech laser fit mats for my 2002 Xtra Cab Tacoma. Just before I placed the order the rep' asked if my Taco was a automatic (it is not). Apparently the WeatherTech mats only fit in the 1st gen if it's an auto.
Does anyone have a recommendation...
