Does anyone have the link for the 8" sub plate that fits directly into the compartment under the passenger side rear seat in an Xcab?

I don't have the link but it is not that hard to make. I can't believe the prices they were charging for them.

Trace the existing cover on a piece of mdf and cut it out with a jigsaw. Cut the hole for your speaker, add carpeting.

Or add some mdf reinforcing to the back of your existing cover and cut the hole for the speaker in that.

Just some ideas.

Hmm...I'll think about that...
I always see those on ebay when I'm looking at Tacoma stuff. I've seen them with and without speakers but they really are fairly pricey. They did put a box around the back of the speaker, but I think it could be done pretty darn cheap at home. I'd also bet that you could get that panel from a junk yard for almost nothing.
Clarion makes a subwoofer enclosure that will fix underneath the driver and passenger seats.

Here is a link to the crutch field site:

A different option if you choose.
