Trace the existing cover on a piece of mdf and cut it out with a jigsaw. Cut the hole for your speaker, add carpeting.
Or add some mdf reinforcing to the back of your existing cover and cut the hole for the speaker in that.
Just some ideas.

yes but it wont work for my yota, that wire that works the seat slide mechanism gets in the way.Clarion makes a subwoofer enclosure that will fix underneath the driver and passenger seats.
