Well I messed up part of an install this evening so I need a replacement part but cant find the part number anywhere. What I am looking for is a part of the hydraulic brake system. It is not the flex hose. It is the portion just before the flex hose, the hard line that runs from the master cylinder. I just need the portion where it connects just under the cab back until it connects with the flex hose.

That or I need to find a way to replace a stripped nut where it connects to the flex hose. If you have an solution to the this without having to completely replace the line, then I will paypal you some beer money. If you dont like beer I will buy you a subscription to some porn site.

Just cut it off with a tubing cutter and get a flare tool. Slide the new nut on (available at any auto parts store) and reflare the line. It's really not that complicated. And get a set of line wrenches from sears so you don't strip out any more brake fittings. Or take a box end wrench and cut out a small section so you can fit it over the line.

You gotta be a freakin Jarhead. I've been trying to use the whole beer and porn payments forever and it only works with so many people.
