I know I have talked to a few people on here with tacomas that are lifted on 31's but I would like to see some pictures. I'm having trouble finding some on the member rigs page. I'm having a delema about putting a 2-2.5 inch lift on the truck with only 31's. I would just like some gradification that it's going to look ok with only the 31's.

Thanks in advanced. Chris.

The only problem was the fact that I had to buy new tires right when I bought my truck because the guy lied to us about the tires. So, I'm going to be running the 31s for a while unless I can sell the 31s to buy a set of 32s.

I'm wondering about gasmileage though. I don't want to end up with crappy gasmileage like my last truck. I was only getting 180-200 miles on my last truck. Right now with my 31s I'm getting 280 which is really nice. I don't want to go back to crappy mileage because of the traveling that I do threwout the year.

How much is a set of sliders ? I can't afford the 400 I have seen some of them going for on the websites. I like the rounded look though. I don't want a set of square ones.

265/75/16 is a 32.

On a side note, I still haven't heard back from that guy about the sliders. I'll try giving him a call again later and let you know when I do hear from him.

I figured you would chime in sometime soon. You come up in a lot of post on here. A friend of mine has the sliders on his truck and got them bedliner covered. I really like the way it looked. I'm sure that I would probably do mine myself w/ that DIY spray on bedliner. Why pay money for something you can do yourself. He told me that someone opened a door on his truck but only his the sliders and then cussed him because it dented and took paint off her door. I had never laughed so hard.

I've heard of some other people opting to do the textured treatment to their sliders too. I preferred the simplicity of black spray paint. Seems easier to touch up, and doesn't seem like it would "grab" rocks I'm attempting to slide over like the textured stuff would. And yeah, sliders can be great parking lot idiot protection. :)

2 inches won't look too bad. It will still look a little "not right" to a lot of people though. It's your truck though, do what you want. :)

I'm really liking the look of the tacoma with 31s. I think that I'm making a good decision for my truck. Thanks to everyone already that has posted pics and responses & to all those that have yet to post something. I should be buying a digital camera here soon so I will have to make sure and take some pictures for everyone once I have my lift on and everything.
