Sounds kinda like autozone rebuilt problems. They aren't exactly known for quality stuff. I would call Wheeler's offroad and order up a set of OME CO's and be done with it. X2 on the scary 
spring compressor issue. Probably better to just take them in to Napa and have them change out the springs. Saves your fingers
