I know it might be a bit of an overkill, but just curious if anyone has a set of Magnecor KV85 Competition (8.5mm) Ignition Cables or even Magnecor R-100 Racing (10mm) Ignition Cables!

I have been using them for a while now. They are very nice wires, but do not fit as well as the OEM ones.

Let me ask you this. Do you believe that a thicker wire is better in some way?

No, not really, I read just a bit about the products. Apparantely it's just more insulation, to keep them form over heating or melting or something in high performance applications. Which driving to and from work doesn't fall into that category ;-) But I'm just looking for an alternative upgrade to the stock ones. Which model of wires do you have?

Gadget, those wires offer more insulation or actual inner wires?
What is important about ignition wires, more inner wires or more heat insulation?
Is th best option to just run stock(NGK/DENSO) with added insulation?
I am very curious
