hey guys, im posting for a bud.

he wants to put manual hubs on his 2000 ADD equiped taco. his truck has ABS. he bought spindles/cvs from a non-ABS manual hub taco. he wants to keep his ABS. he also has a spare set of ABS-ADD spindles. so he is going to have to get new manual hub bearings and get them pressed into the ABS-ADD spindles. he wants to reuse as much of the hub as possible.

does anyone have any links to a fsm that shows exactly how the hubs come apart? i looked all over the NE-TTORA site but all their links are dead.

any insights/comments/suggestions are welcome

thanks

Basically he needs to press off the man hub assembly (bearing and all), and install that on the ADD spindle and re-use the spacer and timing ring for the ABS.

you dope, thats a 2003 fsm, how the hell is it gonna have manual hub stuff in it? lol

but yea, he is going to buy new man hub bearings, get the add bearing pressed out of the abs spindle, and get the man hub bearings pressed into the abs spindle. then take the hub off the non abs man hub spindle and put it on the now man hub abs spindle. lol confused yet?

i need to find exactly what parts he needs to buy :banghead:

He will need the new manual hub bearings. Probably should get new inner and outer seals while you're at it. Also, you will probably need a new lock nut for the manual hub spindle, and he can reuse the abs collar from the add spindles he has. But it sounds like it would work fine.
