ok, here's the deal, I'm going to be gettin a gauge cluster that has a tach for my 96'. I currently have 135k miles on my truck, I want to be able to match up the mileage on the odometer so I'll know how many miles are on my truck. My current cluster is crap and has no tach. The 95.5-97 clusters are mechanical not digital, so if any1's got any input, I'd appreciate it. Thanx, Wes

There are such things as specialty speedometer shops that can adjust and document odo modifications to keep things legal. I've seen references to dealerships doing it, too. State and federal authorities make a big fuss over odo swaps, and the rules say it's gotta be done in such a way as to leave a paper trail for subsequent owners...

Other than that - I believe the mechanical clusters (up to 97) are swappable with no problem...

I'll contact my state offices to find out if there's such a place here in Ms. And what I need to do. Thanx, Wes
