hi everyone. everybody has been a great help so far with all my newbie questions...here are a couple more. my emergency brake light is staying on lately. i reached under the dash and pushed on the little plunger but it never went out. i tried putting a jumper wire between the 2 terminals of the connector to see if it would go out but still nothing. the other problem is there is a lot of fluid on my front drivers side wheel. i looked at the brake line going into the caliper but it looks dry. is it possible for one of the pistons inside the caliper to blow a seal? any ideas are as usual a big help

The #1 cause of the brake light staying on is low brake fluid in the master cylinder. It's normal as the fluid level drops as the brake pads wear down. Top up the master cylinder. If it goes down again right away, then you may have a problem with one of your calipers.
