I been into RC crawlers for a few years and have built a few and since sold them... When I first got into them, there were only a couple kits out there and most folks built them from scratch using different companies for the chassis, axles, links, and electronics... you can find me on the So Cal RC Crawler site and RCcrawler.com as Mikestoys...

My current build...









- Unknown chassis I found on ebay
- Tamiya TLT axles locked with JB Weld and steel input yokes
- Axial beadlocks with Proline 1.9 Flat Iron MTs - no foams
- Traxxas Jato links
- Traxxas Slash rear shocks
- Traxxas Stampede transmission locked with JB Weld and steel output yokes
- Axial hardened driveshafts
- 65turn motor
- Traxxas XL5 speed control
- Hitec 645MG steering servo

'ey Mike.. nice toys !

I'd think you'd want to split those battery cells up...
and find locations to mount those lower...
or possibly fore and aft over the axles ?

that 6 cell looks top heavy at the highest point on the chassis...

just my thoughts

U make any action videos yet ?

oh totally... i put that 6 cell up there to test it out as the axles and trans are leftovers from my toolbox...

i have a 45t to swap out too...
