I searched and found some threads about the entire kit, but has anyone used the skyjacker rear leaf springs? I need to get rid of this add a leaf and was considering them.

Before anyone says to get the deavers, they are too expensive and I live in NC so the shipping is also ridiculous expensive. Looking for a different option. Thanks.

Not sure about the skyjackers, but have you seen my write up for a pack rebuild? (as an option) You can do it as I did, or find a spring shop to add one or two OE spec leaves, and rearc them for your desired amount of lift. Rearcing is like $50 if you bring them the packs off the truck. Adding the leaves shouldn't be that $$$$...

The tough part is going to be finding a set of tacoma leaves and then finding a shop around here. We don't have dick in the way of shops and stuff in this area of NC. You CA guys have EVERYTHING! Grrrr.

How much lift are you looking for? if any? Deaver makes the 3 leaf add pack, which is basically the same thing as the rebuild... They are good for 1.5" of lift. If you want to see pics, check out the extra cab in the rigs section of my site. They ride great, btw.

Thanks, I'll check that out. I just want a better riding rear than this add a leaf. I have thought about shackles, but kinda just want to get some good riding leafs.

I am thinking about the same thing. I need to replace my rear leafs soon. I use my truck for work and its going to have a cap on it soon. So I need to up the weight rating a little so I think shakels are kind of out for me.
