I just lost my tranny going down the freeway. Anyone know where I can get a cheap rebuild or used one? Its for a 01 taco ex-cab trd 2wd sr5.

I have 03 auto tranny with about 25k miles; I bought it used with a motor (v6 ). The motor works great so the tranny should be good. I'm in S.D. north county. The tranny came out of a two wheel drive v6 Tundra (I don't know if that would work for a TRD Tacoma )? 500$
