I need a new rear drive shaft for my 1986 T4R. I also need the flange the bolts to the diff. The rear most joint decided to explode and beat the shaft and flange to death. My current one is useable but I want one that is isn't beat up and missing material around the joint.

Don't need the whole thing, mainly just the female slip part and the diff part.

I did learn that a 81 slip and flange will fit on the shaft, but won't bolt to my tripled drilled diff flange. I did get the u joint swapped today, it involved a cut off wheel, a BFH, and a punch. I just don't trust it 100% because of it being beat up and missing material, it will be a trail spare.

Yes please do that if you would. What did it come off of?

Here is a pic of the slip portion (left)...measures about 9 1/2" total length with the depth of the slip portion about 5 1/2"-6". The OD of the splined shaft it fits is about 1 5/16", 20 splines, and the bolt pattern of the mounting flange measures about 2 3/8" x 2 3/8".

Lemme know if that will work for ya!

I pull a tape on the shaft, count the splines and let you know something.
