are we talking about the tundra coil spring - or a aftermarket coilover built for a tundra? arent the top plates the same on the tacoma and tundra?

an aftermarket, specifically Fabtech 2.0 Peformance Coilover, i though the top plates would be the same too, but apparently we're wrong.

To ALL: Thanks for all the input.

Out of curiosity, what and exactly how much of a difference is there?

the top plate is different by enough to matter, unless you want to drill 3 brand new holes in your truck (the top plate area) they wont bolt up. simple enough.

I have been told by others repeatedly that the top plate is the same and requires no mods to fit tundra coils - but understand this is what I have HEARD I dont know if it is actually the case.

Donahoe coilover instructions say the top three holes are in different locations. They have 6 holes in their coilovers 3 are set for tacomas, 3 are for tundras, coilovers are the same(different valving though) but different mounting hole applications.

So the answer is still NO!
