I've have a '03 dcab 4x4, that I'm going to mildly lift (~1.5"). I will be going with OME 881 coils for the front and daystar 1.25" shackles for the rear. After searching this forum as well as the original delphi, I need some further advice and input in so far as selecting shocks and struts to complement this setup.
For the front my two choices are OME N91SC or Bilstein HD struts. I believe the OMEs may better completement the springs, but I am concerned with longevity of their shocks/struts, and therefore am also considering the Bilsteins.
For the rear, I'm not quite sure the best shocks to use. I believe the 5100s are too long for my application, so will Bilstein HDs suffice? I think my other option would be the N94 OMEs, but again, I don't have any familiarity with the shocks.
