Undo the Block Clamps Fwd and Aft of the Filter to give you more flex with the Fuel Line, it will allow you to pull the old one out and fit the new one in easier, and dont forget to use line wrenches so you dont round off the fittings.

I removed the screw from the clamp that holds the filter and I was able to get it out, barely. Next time I will undo the block clamps.

I think it would be better to leave up the orignal post so that people can see what the original problem was and still use this thread in the future if they happen to have the same problem. Otherwise people would have to search for "got it" or "figured it out" for all their problems and then try and figure out what was wrong.
