I dont have a pic because i could not find it on the Internet, but in the new 4Wheel and Offroad Mag that pictured the new design for the M/ts. They look almost identical to the crawlers. It is said that BFG listened to what people wanted him to do as far as Off Roading as well as excellent milage. I know I will get me some if they are not extremely expensive. :D

I have off-road and DirtSports. The tier section a month back showed some new 'Baja MTZ''s from Mickey Thompson. Looks like a warp of a BFG Mud ans Goodyear Wrangler Mud. Also said good street life. I dont recall seeing any new BFG's in it though.

I noticed that pic myself, but I also noticed it said they wouldn't be out until 2006 at the earliest.

Just the other day the UPS driver for my work had a set of BFG's on his truck and they were all terrains i think. They were not like the normal all terrains that have been around a while. They looked different almost like a mud terrain. They a semi-knobby center piece that went down the middle of the tire that caught my eye as being different than usual. The tire said all terrain though. Do you think these are a new style all terrain from BFG? They did not look like the new mud terrains though. These tires looked bad-ass and they were 33x12.5's. Anyone heard of this or were my eyes really screwed up that day?

Hmmmm, I wonder how many sizes they'll make for a 15" rim? Probably like 2, 31x10.50 and probably a 33x12.50. Everything else will probably be 16" and up. Maybe, 1 day, BFG will make something wider than a 12.50, BUT, I doubt it!

If they dont lower the price of the krawler, they wont sell enough to keep the line going, that is why they are redesigning the regular mud off of the old platforms (molds) it saves them money on manufacturing and keeps consumers prices down.

I saw em in the mag, IMO theyre retarded. Why make the MT nearly identical to the Krawlers? I dont see how, with that design, they will work any better in mud. You might as well go buy a set of Krawlers and scribble Mud Terrain on the side.

I know on the Ultimate Adventure that Petersons Mag has every year, The terrain they were in was mostly mud and they seemed to be doing good. It was muddy mountain trails and there was some serious slop shown.

And to who it concerns

Also the Krawlers are a competion tire not a every day radial. Im sure the Krawlers are a very soft compound. The new M/T's are said to be very street friendly so that already takes away from the performance. Look at TSL's Radials and SSR's. There the same design but the SSR's are siped to provide better street quality where the Radial wont do. Also the SSR's are on average $20-50 more than the same size TSL Radial. Same boat IMO

Hope i helped clear some things up. :xbeer1:
