Hi everyone I've been lurking on here for awhile but I'm just finally getting around to posting. I've got an 87 4runner with minimal lift, 32" bfg at's, a detroit in the rear, as well as headers and exhaust. Planning a sas in the near future, the goal being a capable rig that i can still drive across the country without being too terrified on the highway. Currently on the hunt for a solid toyota axle (preferably 84/85) so let me know if anyone has one for sale. Thanks

Thanks for the welcome. Naw I'm more of an xc mountain bike guy. The ride dh came from a snowboard I used to be really excited about...about 3 years ago. Long since broken and trashed but I guess its too late to change my name now.

WELCOME! Would love to see you on a trail or at a meet and greet some time!

Get some armour (sliders/bumpers and you already have the rear locker) on that thing before you SAC it. I'm just gonna state what everyone else here will advise. But remember it is your truck and you can do whatever you want. (Paint it pink for shits and giggles)

Oh and like I have room to talk. My rig (Tippy) hasn't run in over 2 years. :D

Pics?

Funny you are changing axles before you have even broken the truck in.
I want it wider and knew i would when i put the solid under it. After seeing Scottys diamond i have to have one. Once the projects are gone i will tare in to lexi again and go wider.

IFS hubs make the front as wide as the rear IFS pick up axle with out spacers. I used the dials from the IFS lockouts so they are more flush to the lock out so they dont get rock rashed up....Looks better IMO

Thanks everyone for the welcome and input. I am on the lookout for deals on armor but the sas is just a bit more of a priority/project for me simply because I've got a bit of time to kill these days and life looks to be getting busy in the near future.

vwfastg60, the axle does look good, any ideas on pricing/when you will be doing the upgrades on your truck?

I will be on the lookout for events in the area; I haven't even been able to get any 4wheeling done since this march in moab.

My next online project is figuring out how to show y'all some photos of the green machine.
