Hello!
I just bought my friend's old 1998 Tacoma V6 4wd auto.
It has about 180K miles, and runs strong.
So far, he put bilstein shocks all around, plus front springs (Eibach? H&R?) , rear shackles, and a 2" body lift.
I'm running the new 2005 Tundra wheels and tires (he kept his old ones!).
It also has a shell, and the basic airbox mods (deck plate, etc.), and a custom rear steel bumper.
So far I've added an addco rear sway bar (my modded 99 Wrangler has hardly any body roll, so I needed to stiffen this up), a backup sensor (yep, I'm too used to driving the short Jeep), an MP3 head unit, and just last night, the flex-a-lite electric fan.
I bought an alarm system too, which I'll put in maybe later in the week.. It looks like a pretty involved installation.
I'm on the fence whether or not to do the remote start wiring...
