I saw a couple commercials this weekend for extended interval MOBIL1's guaranteed for 5k, 7.5k, and 15k. What's up with that? Are they truly different enough from the original to warrant the new advertisements? Does anyone know the knew chemical packages they are using and how much they differ? I'm running MOBIL1 5w30 at 9k intervals in my 2000 2.7L Taco and my 1998 Civic with no troubles. Need some info, anyone?

The only real proof you can get with the oil is do analysis. I saw some of that at my local walmart a few weeks ago.
