I'm looking for a company that makes replacement motor mounts for the 22r (I don't want stock, I'm looking for stronger than stock). I know ESB makes them, but from what I understand I will be waiting a while on them. And Total Chaos makes them but on their website it says their mounts fit the 22re 2wd only. Anybody else? Thanks.

Rockstomper.com sells them... (or used to, anyway....)

LC Engineering aslo does, but much more expensive than Rockstompers....

Both warn you that you willprobably feel more vibration transmitted to the frame, tho, due to the stiff bushings.....

I bought a pair of Rockstompers, but for some reason I couldnt get them to bolt in.
But I have a special situation, and I had to have Scott drill the two holes for the mount-to-frame-pads in alternate locations than stock....
This was on my 80 frame (20R stock), but with a 22R block installed by a PO.
The part numbers on my Toyota mounts didnt match up to ANYTHING used on 1st, 2nd or 3 gen trucks or 'Runners....

After talking with TC they told their mounts only fit a 2wd.

I checked out rockstomer.com and they have mounts. However, would they be strong enough for desert purposes? Their mounts cost $75/pair which is a good price, especially when compared to Total Chaos ($325 w/tranny mount) and ESB ($250). I'm thinking there must be a difference in quality if ESB or TC charges 3 times more for their mounts than RS. Can any body help me out?

www.Northwestoffroad.com sells the standard ones or you can buy the ones made for offroad for lower gears and torque. I have a set of the standard ones that probably have 100 miles on them. The 22r tore up replacing it with a 302.
