Any reviews on goodyear's new AT Silent Armor. The tires are expensive as all get out. I'm looking for a good AT with minimal road noise.
I have the goodyear at-s. They are great tires. Quiet for an AT tire. Good wet handling. Awesome traction, and the tire flex at low pressure is great. I wish these tires had the rim protector like the new ones. I worked over my rims in 1 DAY! I don't know if the $200 per tire is justified over the $165 per BFG. Great tires, I am sure the new ones are even better. One thing we know...You get what you pay for.....

I have some GY AT/S and love them, they do everything quite well. I've had the BFG AT's and IMHO the GY AT/S's are alot better on and off road. My only compliant is they don't track the best at high speeds but you get used to it.

expensive yes. just by the looks, they do look quiet as can be, but they don't really look like an AT. they don't look like they will be very good once you hit the dirt, just my 2 cents

Yeah, I was skeptical, too. But I figured the street ride would be worht it, and since it's 4wd, I'll compensate, blablabla. Then, on the Big Bear snow run, I got 'em GOING! I got up a hill that a taco with 285 bfg mudders and a locker had to et winched up.... and I got through on 265, and NO locker. The performance of the tires shocked me, is all I can say. My only bitch is there was no rim protector, but that problem is solved. And, they ride better on the street than my bfg a/t do. Go figure...

My friend and I have identical trucks. He's got BFG at's on his and I have Brigstone Revo's. On road there is no compairison. My truck is way quieter, better in the rain, and rides ten times better. If you want an All Terrain tire for mostly street use I would get the Revo's. Oh yeah they have awsome tread life too. Just my opinion though.

I also have the Dueler Revo's; very quiet on the road, couldn't be happier. Offroad my praises are just as high. I rarely need to air down, and when I do, it's just because everyone else is too :) I just don't like to air back up at the end of a trail, and the Revo's allow me to run it without worrying about loss of traction by staying fully inflated.

I have the Revos as well and am very impressed with them! They perform real well on snow, wet roads and the odd off road trek. They are really quiet and handle better than any other AT I've had on road as well.
I use 32" Revos as my winter tires on the stock rims and use 33" BFG muds for the summer on Ivan Stewarts. I am not looking forward to taking off the Revos/ winter rims and putting back on the BFG's/ summer rims because i know they are way louder and handle like shit compared to the Revos on road and on wet roads.
Its a good thing the BFG mud 33's and Ivan Stewarts look alot better or i wouldn't switch them at all!
