Just installed a pr of Carbon Fiber Taillights on my 96 XCab...got all new bulbs and everything, but the backup lights arent working. took it to autozone, they hooked the assembly up to a power machine and the light came on. take it back outside, hook it into the truck, throw it in reverse...nothing. anyone have any ideas as to why my truck wont power the light? thanks

good idea taking it somewhere to test the bulbs, so that rules that out.

have you hooked the original lights back up to test those reverse lights? if those don't work then it would be in the wiring or maybe a fuse, though i don't know if the reverse lights alone would have their own fuse or not ... haven't touched my tails.

yea well they look pretty nice, and i finally got em working. many compliments from the locals, so no complaints here.
