Whats goin on yall,
Picked up a 73 FJ40 2 weeks ago. Here are some specs...STOCK but it has a sbc 327 v8 w/ 4spd tranny/3spd x-case. So far picked up new plugs and starter. Its turning over but no go??? At first it was firing(almost as if it was misfiring) now its not even doing that. Any ideas? Anyways, just saying he to all the other guys into these things. I've been on TTORA for a few years. I also have a 03 d-cab. Any advice? I also check up on ih8mud.com alot for useful info.

When you turn it over are you getting any spark? Is the firing sequence correct?

Well, I've taken care of the problem. Selling my recent purchase and my Int'l Scout for a running 67 FJ40. I thing timing was off on it. Plus it was havin carb problems.
