Finally got the wife a 4runner.

2003, White, V8, 4WD, Sport Edition, Leather, 88,000 miles
It's awesome!

Thanks to Joe (aka Jomentum) at Mike Calvert Toyota for the mechanical inspection! I will now be taking all of my rides to him for work. You rock Joe!

Pics to follow :D

Nice ride!

Are you sure about that 4WD V8? I heard they got some pretty lousy gas mileage.

It's teh wife's... so most of the driving will be small-town. So the mpg would suck anyways.

And it's not any worse that my taco.

Anyways I want to use it for towing the truck, once I get a trailer.

Guys, the real-world mpg difference betweent he two is negligible, but the power difference/torque band is significant.

I'd opt for the V8 4x4 myself.

Nice ride Wes!
The nifty little MPG average indicator is the coolest and suckiest gadget.

It's cool cause I want to know that data... but I feel bad when I floor it and can watch it go down faster than a cheap ho.

Those V8's love it when you mash the skinny pedal.
Just see if you can hit 22mpg !....or better

That sombitch still needs a "little" Lift. You know we cant let it roll like that!

The only mod I did to my wife's old 4Runner was to take off the running boards to keep my pant legs clean.
