hey guys im from east tennessee balancing my life between home in knoxville and college in jefferson city. i drive a nissan maxima with 191k now which hopefully will be gone soon to make way for a tacoma so i just wanted to get this started early. i used to have a 1992 Toyota 4runner with 200k miles on it so i was on the yotatech boards alot which is how i found you guys. so in the next week or so hopefully i will be looking for a new truck! thanks -evan

I take it you're a student at Carson Newman? I just moved to FL in Dec. from east TN. Love it there. Raised in Knoxville, student at UT-Chatt.

If you ever make it to Chattanooga in your new yota, hit up Aetna Mtn. There is a wide range of trails from beginner to expert.

Fox 4runr- Yea i go to Carson-Newman im on a baseball scholarship up there. I should actually be in chatt alot this year, im playing baseball there all summer so hopefully ill be able to go look around if i have my truck by then. Thanks for the info.

Is there any way that you could keep the Maxima as a DD? That way you could build on your truck more easily. :saw: I know it can be expensive, but from what I've read it helps.

GSMSnuffy- sold the 4runner about 2 years ago so it would be kinda hard but that was a possibility at the time, dad just didnt want to deal with the hassle of having 4 cars... i know sad.

Fox4rnr- No lol again with the issue above just not enough room in the driveway yet. Hopefully there can be some convincing sometime soon tho. The Tacoma would be more of a DD until i got out of college and got out on my own anyways, but there would be some wheelin involved.

I know a student at Covenant in Chattanooga who thinks he needs a Corolla, but a Maxima would work as well, if its a good specimen.

Sounds good to me. If I have any spare time this summer, I'm gonna try and install my gears and locker that came the other day. Now I just need to save up :2cents: for an ARB in the rear......Can't wait to get it on the trail

yea i havent decided if im gonna be staying in knoxville during the week and driving down on the weekends or if im just gonna try and find somewhere down there to stay. i have some connections in chatt so i might try and see if that would work.
