I just went through the same dilema waiting on the 5100's to come out. I ended up getting the OME N85's instead and am very, very happy with them. They have the same compressed length as the 5100's but a longer extended length.ocdp2000 said:

any help would rule.
thanks

I got them at Wheeler's Offroad since I had already pre-ordered the 5100's. They sold the OME's to me for the same special price of $119 incl. shipping (since I ordered the Donahoe's at the same time). The N85's are the "firm" ones. I got those since I have a canopy and carry a 75 lb tool box and other misc. crap in the back.ocdp2000 said:where did you get them at, website and how much were they for the pair?? also are those the soft or the stiff OME shocks?
thanks
That is correctsynovus said:I think the softer-valved OME rear shocks are the N94's. The N85's are firmer, I believe.
They should come with the OME bushings...ocdp2000 said:do i need that bushing as well like i needed for the bilsteins for the rear shock or are these N94's ok with how they come???
According to Wheeler's and other sources, the OME's (at least the N85's I got for the rear) work for my 2-3/4" lift in the rear.hytenor said:the OME shocks are meant for a 2" lift so you'll be fine. However, you will need a BPV (brake proportioning valve) extension bracket and a longer rear brake line.
