I am surprised to see they don't offer an option for an XM or Sirius receiver in the new Taco. It seems like most auto makers are offering it as an option.

Just install it yourself... its pretty simple and you can get it to work with the factory stereo anyways. Thats what the rest of us did.....

But then you have to have an ugly unit to stick somewhere (uh, I mean receiver unit ). I think Toyota dropped the ball big time here. Hopefully in '06 or '07 cause that's when I'll be in the market...

I would assume that the first thing anyone who is that serious about their sound system would do would be to pull the stock head unit out and replace it with an aftermarket unit.

Not real easy with the '05s headunit. And the upgrade JVC system looks pretty decent, although I have yet to hear one. An addition of satellite would be nice...

Give it a couple months- someone will come out with a deal to do it. If no one does, make something yourself.
