Thanks for the link for the "shelf it" thing. I had looked at them a while back but didn't realize that they made them for the Tacomas.
I know its not the most visable in this pic, but just mount it on the side of the transmission hump like I did:Peanut Butter said:I love the idea of the ashtray mount, but my CB is too wide, and I am already mounting my Sirus radio in that spot. I need ideas, and preferably pictures of other places and ways to mount a CB in a DubCab. Stock console, with stock stereo that will not be replaced for now. Thanks!
Why not use a Cobra 75WXST all-in-one cb..Remote mounted box ,and all you have to do is find a place for the mic..I'll try to send you a pic or two this evening..Peanut Butter said:Anyone else have suggestions?
You can certianly think of a tactful way around that can't you??Peanut Butter said:That would be awesome, but don't forget the W.F...the wife factor. It was a gift from her, and if I plan on "getting any" over the next few weeks, I better not take back the radio shack cb that she bought me!
ur kinda close, its more common for them "super truckers" to say "10" instead of 10-4 and "fowty2" (42) instead of 10-42. and "come on" is used by alot, made popular by... oo what was it, on a movie, this trucker says "im gonna backer up red" other replies "come on back" and then he responds "alrite" in voices made 2 poke fun at truckers. oo and the only ppl who say "good buddy" anymore is the gay truckers, who also say "come come" (cum cum) instead of "come on".Jamier2 said:That's a big ten-fo' good buddy.
Real truckers say "come on" when they're done talkin.
