Due to a recent mishap in another chapter, we have decided that common sense doesn't flow with everyone, therefore some reinforced ground rules need to be laid out.

For now we will maintain with the national guidelines as far as forum use, nothing new regarding these guidelines is being presented at this time.

As far as attending any Northern California TTORA Run, there are some rules;

1) Pack it in pack it out. There will be no littering from any person attending a NorCal run. If you see some trash on the trail, stop and pick it up. It only takes an enemy to offroading seeing trash one time to get an area closed...

2) Inappropriate/Illegal activities will result in a ban from any future runs as well as a perma ban from the forum. The punishment will depend on the severity of the incident (at staff's discretion). You may be asked to leave the run.

3) We are a group that treads lightly and maintains trails to keep them open, keep it that way. Going off trail is considered an inappropriate activity, and will be dealt with.

4) Make sure your rig is recoverable, it is your sole responsibility. Damage to your vehicle is on you, unless wrecklessness is involved. Northern California TTORA or it's members are not responsible for damaged vehicles or property.

5) Please obey all local and state traffic laws, regardless if your on paved road or not. LEO's are out on the trails and will get you, make sure your seatbelted, on trail, not leaking sediments anywhere, no open containers, and cleaning up after yourself.

6) In retrospect to drinking, try and keep it to the campsite or during lunch. Anyone blatenly drunk will be asked to leave.

Again, these are common sense to most of us, but some people don't have a clue.

If there is anything you would like to add please PM myself or Phill and it will be discussed.

Chris
