ShrockWorks is hiring 1-2 Welder / Fabricators for MIG welding and bending carbon steel plate and tube.
This is a production environment, not custom fabrication. Must be able to do precision high quality cosmetic work with minimal supervision, quickly and accurately.
Interest in 4x4's a plus. (Kinda a given here) Experience in a lean manufacturing environment a big plus.
Salary dependent on experience. Prefer 2-3 years experience, but will consider training someone with moderate welding / fabricating experience, but must have moderate experience in MIG welding and fabrication.
Small shop with a FUN atmosphere and 4x4 shop perks (use of equipment for personal rig and discounted parts.)
1 week paid vacation 1st year. 2 weeks the following year. Will pay 1/2 of health insurance for employee only. No other benefits.
A background test will be conducted. High school degree required. Must speak fluent english.
Location: Houston, TX (NW 1960 Area)
Compensation: $10-15 / hr
