My las wheeling trip was out in Rausch Creek PA. I ran with a local group most of which were built up Wranglers with D44's or better axels. While my wheelbase helped somewhat, my lack of front articulation really showed on the trip (we ran black trails). If I had a front locker, it would have been easier, but then I would have def. broken at least 1 CV axel. I almost rolled 3 times on the trip, and not a single jeep came close. Now I realize that maybe I ought to have taken better lines, but had I had more travel in the fron, it wouldnt have been an issue. So while I have to re-gear still, all my money is going to be saved for a SAS (I was going to get a truetrac for the front). I am currently looking into a coil spring SAS as I like the clearance better than leaf sprung and want to avoid the high cost of coilovers. I searcherd but since most of you gus havent done this I am wondering where I could get any info on coil sprung setups. I was wondering if i could use the factory coilover mount for the coils and them mount a shock on each side. It would require custom mounts on the axel though.

Look throught the SAS Parts list and in all the folders for that matter and you will definatly find your answer. I have seen at least half a dozen very detailed coil over SAS web sites with lots of info and pics. One of the posts started a couple weeks ago and it was about a guy using a four link with TJ coils. Good luck to ya.
