hey everyone, i'm new here, and this is the first post i put up myself. anyways, i have a 96, reg cab 4x4 2.7, and have a question about the o2 sensor. i don't want to spend the 150 dollars on a new sensor, and was wondering if it was possible to put a resistor, or rig up some other form of tricking out the computer. i am getting about 19 mpg in my truck, not bad, but i have small ass 235/75 tires, and am plannin on getting a lift and 32 or 33, and i know it will go way down from that. i used to get 22 mpg, and would like to get that with these small tires. any help would be great. thanks :welder:

when u bypass an 02 sensor for one reason i know is when u have a high tuned performance exhaust of somesort thats giving a code, in ur situation i would just replace it, URDusa.com sells them for 90$ id pay that rather than messing up the calibration of your fuel mixture
