I've got Alcans on my 02 D-Cab and I love them. 3" over stock and could not ask for more. I'm sure someone is going to chime in here to say that their experience with Charles was less than perfect, but I have no complaints and will not hesitate to go back to him in the future!!!xcmountain80 said:Anyone using the Alcan springs? How much are they usually?

It probably depends on your application, but I think mine were around $450 shipped.xcmountain80 said:Sooo how much were they?

This might sound funny to you but this was the first site I found way back when http://www.balum.com/expvehicle.htm and your was the second I was so inspired and kept patiently waiting for your updates and wonderful pictures of trails that I bought my Pickup last May and since have gone mad with useful additions. So now Im trying to solve this heavy ass end problem due to all the gear I carry on trips , but still how much do these things cost. BTY thankyou for the inspiration and wonderful pictures those locations are amazing.BajaTaco said:That would be me.But seriously, I love the springs. You can read my impressions here - be sure to follow the link at the bottom of the page to see pics and more info.
Considering what a challenge my application is, and they made them without ever having the truck in their shop, I'm impressed. They are an 8-leaf pack with an additional anti-wrap leaf, and military wrap, with bolted keepers. I have been using them for about 1 1/2 yrs. so far and they work awesome.

Cost? read two posts up. Or you can just call Alcan and tell them what you need to get an up to the minute quote.
