i've been working on getting my 02' taco fitted with a suspension lift. i just got the OME 881's and Downey AAL. 1st order of biz was to give it all a few coats of yellow epoxy paint. then i decided to experiment some with the glow paints i have, sprayed the springs with some hyper-green glow paint (yes, they glow at night).

i'll have pics soon.

No offense, but that soft of stuff really doesn't fly around here. Basically only Donahoe black, Camburg Red, and King Blue.

But hey, to each his own... If you do any sort of off roading the paint is going to get chipped, btw.. Even on road in cinders, gravel, etc...

How do you figure the paint will chip? I doubt you'll hit the coils on anything offroad. Mine have been red for 10 months and are only missing paint from the spring compressor. They were painted to protect them from the liberal salting of our roads on the advice of ARB to keep them from pitting.

To each his own man, stop giving him shit just cause he wants to do something on HIS truck. I would never paint my coilovers glow in the dark but then again i'd never pierce my dick and people do that too. Cut him some slack. Anyways, i am wondering, how does the paint keep from cracking off when it compresses?

Maybe he can paint the whole bottom of his truck with glow paint. Then he won't need rock lights! :lmao:

as for paint cracking when spring moves, nah, this epoxy paint is flexible enough to handle some movement.

i use glow paints just for fun. :)

well, i had some problems spraying the glow paint last night, so i gave up on it. i have to develop a dusting technique (i have glow powders too) in order to get springs to glow correctly.

sorry folks, no glow springs this time.......
