hey there . . . am looking for some pics with the OME suspension lift kit installed? (in action or just parked) Just want to get an idea of how they can perform and what the end product looks like. Preferably those who ride on some 32"s, but I'll take anything I can get. Thanks a lot TTORA. This is a great association and web site. Love it!!!

You can click the link in my sig. OME up front, and shackles out back. On ~32's. Don't forget the member's rig section either, most people with purely suspension lifts on thier IFS are running roughly the same height that you'll get from OME's.

I have a '99 SR5 TRD V6 3.4 stock right now. My first set of goals with this truck is to put the OME suspension kit with the 881 coils with N91S and N85 shocks, 32"x11.5"R15 BFG A/T, and a set of custom sliders. It is my impression that this is the stiffer kit, but produces a bit more lift. I like the TRD ride, but am looking to do a some more intensive off-roading and don;t know if the TRD suspension will hold up (pver time), plus I need room for the 32"s. Have heard lots about the OME kit and seems like a reasonable price. Send me what you can . . .pics, info., anything!!

Ok, with the 881s and your truck you'll see about 1.5" of lift after settling; how long that takes will depend on your driving style ;). The rear OME springs will be good for around 2" (or less, depending on how many leaves you go with. You can remove 1 or more for less lift/load capacity and more flex).

As long as you don't plan on adding a winch/bumper you'll be fine. Articulation with the OMEs is better than any of the adjustable coilovers that you see posted about but they cannot handle much extra weight.

If you need a little more lift you can add the 5mm trim packers for up to about another inch w/o effecting ride/handling.

the difference in ride/handling is like night and day compared to the OE TRD pkg.

Thanks a lot man. Answered some of the questions I have been searching for. One more thing . . . can I order the front suspension kit assembled with the trim packers installed already or should I wait until I absolutely need them? Will 32"s comfortably fit and allow for lots of wheel travel. Thanks again. Any information would be great!!

A place like Wheelers (and others I'm sure) is willing to assemble C/O's for you, if you pay for a new top plate, but it'll add to the cost and put you up in SAW territory.

Install isn't that hard, air tools make it easier, but coil compressor's are still kind of scary.

Not that I know of. UPS won't ship loaded coil/shock assemblies but I don't know about other carriers.

Wheel travel remains the same, 8", and there aren't many ways to change that cheaply. The OME setup just allows full use of the OE travel where most coilovers will limit it to an extent.

You should be fine w/o trims for a while since you'll probably see around 2.5" or so initially. You will most likely still rub a tad on full artulation but don't worry about it, its part of wheelin'. I was able to tag my upper inner fender plastic with my 33s with 3.5" of lift where the old NWOR 2" kit never even allowed any rubbing anywhere, LOL. If you are looking for off-road flex, the OMEs are hard to beat. (at least for IFS :p )
